Over the past week Cradle Mountain Canyons and friends have been building access tracks to the canyons. On the 23rd and 24th October a group of 19 people helped carry over a kilometre of wood and materials into the track sites. MAMMOTH effort!!! Since then we have been working hard to get the tracks in so we can build access stairs and changing platforms. A few photos from the last week. Lost World Canyon

The Lost World Canyon allows you to experience the beauty of the upper section of the Dove River. You will journey through quaint quartzite gorges, surrounded by a blanket of button-grass, ancient King Billy Pines and if you are lucky, wandering wombats.

We recommend this trip for beginners, families and those who are out for a fun, relaxing adventure. Customers have the choice of swimming or floating on an inflatable tube.

Dove Canyon

Wilderness + adrenalin + adventure = the Dove Canyon. If you are after an unforgettable experience in Tasmania, you have come to the right place. The Dove Canyon showcases wild Tasmania at its best. This trip involves a thrilling combination of jumps, slides and abseils buried in a 50 metre deep quartzite canyon. Definitely one to write home about.

This option is for the adventurous and intrepid. You do not need any previous canyoning or abseiling experience, but we recommend customers are physically fit, able to swim and have a great sense of adventure.
